For Grace's actual Birthday on Friday I gave her several options of things we could do, her top 2 were go to the park and go to the beach. Thank goodness the weather cooperated and there was a park at the beach! I was worried that even though the sun was shining it would be cold, but it turned out to be such a beautiful day and we all had a fantastic time {minus the incident when Addie flung a shovel full of sand in my face/mouth/teeth/hair when I was 2 inches from her face......all I could think of was my friend Carrie in times of panic and I just kept saying, "abort, abort"} anyway, I can't wait for warmer days so we can make many trips to the beach!
After that we met Jonathan at home where he was waiting for Grace with balloons and flowers, then we took her out to her favorite place to eat, the Rice Store {Qdoba}, then off to get ice cream and then home to bed!
Looks like you did pretty good with the new lens! We should have gone with you! Maybe if it's nice we can do that friday or not! I need new beach gear! I love that picture of Grace on the horse, that's a great face!
you are brave to take them w/o johnny! looks like you had fun. anything fun for your birthday? why didn't you take a journey back in time with your old photos??
Ok to use your favorite phrase, I almost pooped my pant reading the sand and abort sentence! Awesome! I missed you in Oregon, but I think I am coming again in May. I will let you know.
