I hate to say it, but Miss Addison mostly drives me crazy these days! She is such a pill, but I would rather remember the things that make me laugh instead- so here is what she is doing and saying that makes me not want to punch her in the nose.
When she is really upset (and we usually have no idea what she is mad about) this is what she yells at us.......
"Don't look at me!" or "don't talk to me!" or "don't touch me!" all the while she has her head tucked into the couch or a pillow. She will just keep yelling at us until we actually say to her, "okay, we aren't looking at you!" I think it is funniest when she does it to her dad, she will peek up at him and give him the stink eye.
She likes to come cuddle with me in the morning if she gets bored playing all by herself because Grace and I are still sleeping. She will come to the side of my bed and ask "cuddle mommy?" so she climbs in and makes sure she is covered and that her face is less than an inch from mine. Then she whispers and gently touches my face. Then after 2 minutes she is done and out of the bed. She can't sit still for longer than that.
Right now she is the boss of all of us!! I also like to think she is like a wild animal and I have explained to Grace that we should treat her like she is one and follow some general rules: You never know what might set her off, so, approach with caution..... always. Never approach her loudly to make sure not to set her off, never approach her from behind and never poke her! If you must approach her, do it very slowly and carefully. Never trust the wild beast, she can never be tamed, she is wild!!!
Lastly, she is very independent and doesn't want help with most things. If only we could understand all the things she says, that might help!
So this song is for her.

Micah! I found your blog through Amber's. I love it! Your girls are gorgeous and apparently as funny as their mommy! The mustache conversation is my favorite. I agree that a mustache can be very dangerous sometimes. You look beautiful and have such a darling family. Hope all is well.
Oh I suspect your Addison and my Luke would get along just fiiiiine! It must be a second child thing...they just come out feistier!! My mantra lately is "Just make it to bedtime...just make it to bedtime" But gosh that cuddling sounds too cute...that's the stuff that saves them!
wow! have your hands full or what? she is a wild animal raised by wolves...
