I had a conversation with Grace today that I wanted to remember so that when she is a teenager I will have this to hold onto.
We were coloring today and she looked up at me and said, "when I grow up and I'm a police man I won't live with you anymore." I told her that was right. She looked down and then looked at me with tears running down her face, "but mom, I will really miss you!" She kept crying as I was telling her it was far far away and she kept blabbing how much she would miss me and that she wants to live with me forever. She would think about it for a minute and then start sobbing again. I laughed and told her I was sure she wouldn't feel this way when she was older. Then she said, " when I'm grown up will I know the way to your house and I can drive in my police car when I'm all done being a police man?"
Then I asked her about being a police man and she said, "no, I want to be a mom like you!"
We do call her "drama mama" a lot for a reason!

That is so sweet. A police man, wow she has a lot of "change" in her future.
